OK, so my question is not entirely related to Vista, but here goes. Eventually, in the near future, I will probably be needing a new laptop. My current one is about 5 years old and running XP. So, I've heard off and on that Windows 7 is *definitely* better than Vista, and I wasn't planning on getting any sort of lappy with Vista, as it is. Any thoughts on the subject, all you computer nuts?

And yeah, if I had the money, I'd probably go with a Mac. But that's not in my ballpark, unfortunately. *sigh*

Avoid vista like the plague. Go for Windows 7.

(Personally, I avoid Mac like the plague too.

It seems I'll be getting a laptop replacement very soon, and I'll probably be putting Linux Mint on it. not sure if I'll put 7 or 9 on it....

And depending on hard drive space...maybe something else.
